Instructions

Dear Team,

As we approach Sunday's event, I would like to highlight a few crucial points for everyone's attention.

1. **Venue Rules:**

- Please follow the signage at the venue on the day.

- Failure to adhere to the rules may result in a £50 fine issued on Monday. It is imperative that players respect the conditions set by the host venue for hire.

2. **Parking:**

- No on-site parking is permitted until 3 pm. Kindly refrain from parking on-site before this time. Ample parking is available on Hill Lane, Wilton Road, and Kellet Road. The gate will be open for the church that utilizes the school every Sunday.

3. **Bags:**

- A designated room beside the sports hall will be provided for teams to leave their goalkeeper bags, personal belongings, and any other items. Please use this room between matches, avoiding bags in the corridor or sports hall.

4. **Indoor Hockey:**

- Indoor hockey is only permitted in the sports hall.

5. **Viewing Gallery:**

- The gym equipment is off-limits; refrain from using it between matches to prevent accidents.

6. **Classrooms:**

- Two classrooms will be open for teams playing next to have a discussion. Please be respectful of the classroom space.

7. **Matches:**

- The clock will be strictly adhered to, and matches must start on time. Games will commence, ready or not.

- Umpires will have their own dedicated room for the day.

- Teams are responsible for providing their own match and warm-up balls.

8. **Colours:**

- The second-named team should be prepared to change their kit, with flexibility encouraged if possible.

9. **Super Sixes Rules:**

- Please familiarise yourselves with the EH Super Sixes rules [https://www.englandhockey.co.uk/download?documentId=016QX2LWKZLDWL2JFOZVCLPJ6SIGOA2G6M].

10. **Guest Player:**

- Teams may include a maximum of two players, complying with certain regulations. Players must provide consent from their adult league hockey club. Reading has already submitted this documentation.

11. **Fixtures:**

- Please refer to the provided link for the fixtures.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19PielsXpLzdcF0W45icSWtuXBb-NB7X1BKG-e1japaU/edit?usp=sharing

12. **Gate Code:**

- The gate code for entry is #008904.

Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. Let's ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone involved.

Additionally, I acknowledge that the current setup for this event may not align with our ideal preferences, with too many teams and only one venue. If you share a passion for indoor hockey and would like to contribute to the organisation and execution of the event next year, please feel free to reach out to me. It's crucial that we take ownership of our indoor hockey in the region, as England Hockey may not provide the support we need. Your involvement and commitment can make a significant difference in shaping the future of indoor hockey within our community.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Best regards,

Calum
