This week (Thurs 16 May) marked the commencement of our home summer series fixtures with UoP making the short trip across town with a Womens and Mixed XI.

The early push-back saw US Women take on a strong university side and dominate from the start, holding the lead through a Cece goal until UoP grabbed one back in the final 10 minutes. Despite finishing a 1-1 draw the US uni girls definitely earned the bragging rights with fine performances all over the pitch against their UoP W1's counterparts! With 8/10 performances all over the pitch there is no room to single out a single performer for praise, but, ......special mention should go to Robynne for her unyielding commitment to defend - with her face! Top performance, well done girls.

The later push-back saw a group of men join both sides and play 60 minutes of mixed hockey, where UoP superior mens quality shone through leading UoP to a 5-1 victory. Well done all those that took part.
