Several USPHC Masters played for the Royal Navy Masters vs England LX (over 60s).

The elation of the win was a poignant way to honour one of the last times Alan Walker managed the RN Masters side; a great contributor to both RN & USPHC hockey over decades.
- Rob O'Kane, Honorary Vice President

Nine current members of the USPHC Masters team played for the RN Masters team yesterday, taking on a strong England LX side at the Alan Walker Stadium (in HMS Temeraire) on a very warm autumnal day. USPHC had previously played the England Masters B side a few weeks previously, winning a fun friendly 2-1.

The opposition may have been a bit older than some of the RN side but they have been rampaging across Europe winning Gold and Silver medals in thier age categories. USPHC Players in the RN outfit included former masters players, three ex-Chairmen and no less than four honorary Vice Presidents - a very well supported side in the end! It was a hard fought game, with some starring contributions by the USPHC players. The game was played in great spirit and enthusiasm despite the heat with the RN ran out eventual winners, 2 - 0.
