Ladies and gents, after a couple of years of looking at different brands, deliberating potential stock colours, comparing prices, checking reviews and quality, considering the estimated life of the kit etc and ultimately looking for the best deal for our club members we have come to a decision.

We are sticking with a similar style kit so there can be a slow transition period, however we will look to incentivise the swift purchase of the new kit.

The committee are actively seeking a kit sponsor to reduce the price of the kit and as always are doing everything we can for our club members.

LADIES - you still have approx 18 full Mercian kits which we would like to sell prior to moving over to the new kit so for now there is no change or hold off buying the current kit. Don't expect to change kits for 1-2 seasons.

So the new home kit is:

Adidas miteam climacool in royal blue and power red with blue adidas stripes (not the white in the picture). Socks are just plain red as they've always been.

It is more expensive than previous kits, but the quality is far superior and it should last longer. The cost for the shirt and shorts is £70 which is cost neutral for the club. That's a £5 increase for the shirt and approx £7 for the shorts.

Away kit remains the same.
